DC Community Going Green: Capital Bikeshare Launches Several Stations Around the Area

Capital Bikeshare has launched new stations throughout DC, including several in and around the Columbia Heights community.  The Bikeshare program, which allows people to rent bikes from one station and drop them off at any other station, continues to expand.  There are several pricing options that are offered by Capital Bikeshare, including one day passes.

The new stations in Columbia Heights are set outside of the Giant supermarket, as well as on the corners of 14th and Harvard and 16th and Harvard.

Now Northwest DC residents will have their choice of dozens of stations including at the following locations:

  • Adams Mill & Columbia Road in Adams Morgan
  • Calvert Street & Woodley Place in Woodley Park
  • 14th Street & U Street in the U St. Corridor
  • 10th Street & U Street in the U St. Corridor
  • Florida Avenue & T Street in Dupont Circle
  • Massachussettes Avenue right on Dupont Circle
