Guardian Angels Step Up Patrols On Weekends In Adams Morgan

This story comes to us from John Ayala of the Guardian Angels:

The Guardian Angels have been asked by dozens of business owners and residents to assist with the safety and keeping peace in the Adams Morgan community on the weekends.  The Guardian Angels are an all volunteer safety patrol group and will have a dozen members patrolling  Adams Morgan every weekend up to Labor Day Weekend.

We will be working in partnership with MPD and will report all incidents to the Third District Police Department.   The goal of the Guardian Angels in Adams Morgan is to deter fights, crime and to make sure everyone who comes to party have a safe and fun evening. We will also be looking for donated office space in the Adams Morgan area so we can have 24 hour volunteer safety patrols.
