Shake Shack, the latest eatery to move into the Capital City and join the D.C. burger war, is looking for employees.

The burger spot, which will open its doors at 1216 18th Street NW in Dupont sometime in the near future, has the above sign pasted on their door.

Could be a decent gig---probably get some free burgers and shakes out of it too.

WASHINGTON, DC (WUSA)-- Angie Goff reports the Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington announces the 2011 RAMMY nominees. 

The nominations were announced at the Nominee Party held at the Ritz-Carlton Washington DC.

Bourbon Steak, Rasika, and Trummer's on Main are nominated for Fine Dining Restaurant.

Chef of the Year honors will be decide between Bertrand Chemel of 2941, Todd Gray from Equinox, Haidar Karoum from Proof, Rasika's Vikram Sunderam and Bryan Voltaggio of VOLT.

Hank’s Oyster Bar Adding A Bar & Lounge Plus Private Dining Options

Washington, D.C., (March 15, 2011) -- This May, Hank’s Oyster Bar located at 1624 Q Street NW, in the heart of Dupont Circle, will double in size, expanding next door incorporating a 1,800 square-foot space.  The addition features the new Hank’s Bar and Lounge, which also has a private dining room upstairs that can accommodate up to 24 guests for dinner. The expansion allows Hank’s to double the size of its popular outdoor patio with 40 seats for seasonal dining. The new Hank’s Bar and Lounge will also be introducing late night hours, serving until 2 AM weeknights and 3 AM weekends, making it a wonderful option for lingering over crafted cocktails before or after dinner in the restaurant.

Beginning tomorrow, Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chad Ochocinco Johnson will start a four day tryout with Sporting Kansas City of Major League Soccer.

Today, Monday March 21st from 1:30-3:30 p.m., the Brown Bag Eye Street location is inviting everyone to celebrate the new season with a free frozen yogurt giveaway. The restaurant also features a toppings bar to dress up the frozen treat. There you can find goodies such as blueberries, pineapple, strawberries, mangoes, granola, sugared pecans, coconut, and more. Offer redeemable one per customer.
